I made myself a Neocities page because I was feeling a bit held back by Carrd's limitations. Seems pretty nice.
About
At present, there's not much for me to say about myself. I'm just an ordinary guy from Texas who likes music, writing, and some other stuff. I tend to be pretty shy, but I don't bite...usually.
Before you interact...
I am autistic. I also struggle with an eye condition (chronic intermittent esotropia) that substantially affects my ability to notice things, especially in bright environments. Normally, neither of these affect anything about how I treat people, but if you're ableist in any form, get out. I don't care what your "reason" is.
These days, I try not to be too active on social media due to past negative experiences as well
as my sociopolitical views (more on that in a later paragraph). The vast majority of discourse
on those platforms is exhausting and, to me, completely pointless. I'd rather do literally
anything other than engage with it.
However, if you really need to know where I
stand: I am anti-censorship (though I find most "proshippers" to be highly reactionary!) and
accepting of all good-faith queer identities.
Ideologically, I make efforts to align myself with revolutionary Marxism, including dialectical materialism. Know that I absolutely despise Twitter "communists"—they're part of why I stopped using most social media sites. Meaningful change is done on the ground.
Should go without saying, but this is not a safe space for fascists, either.
Nor do I
support the usage of generative A.I. in art. Pick up a pencil.

Music
I mainly gravitate toward electronic (especially trance), metal (mainly black, symphonic, and some death), and anything a little quirky—though I'll listen to (almost) any genre. Some of my favorite artists include:- Porter Robinson / Virtual Self
